At Isopod Farms, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, we offer the following return and refund policy in line with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

  • Faulty or Damaged Products: If the product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a full refund, exchange, or repair. Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the product, and we will arrange for its return at no cost to you.
  • Change of Mind: Due to the nature of some of our products (e.g., live isopods or terrariums), we unfortunately cannot accept returns or exchanges based on a change of mind. Please be sure of your purchase before finalizing your order.
  • Non-Faulty Products: If you wish to return a product that is not faulty and is still in its original condition (unopened and unused), we offer an exchange or store credit. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Contact us at info@isopodfarms or 064 550 7262 within 7 days of receiving the item, specifying the issue.
  • Ensure the product is in its original packaging and condition.
  • We will provide you with a return shipping label if the product is faulty or damaged.
  • Once the returned product is received, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the return conditions.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as the original purchase.
  • If you are entitled to a refund for a faulty product, the cost of return shipping will be reimbursed.
  • Perishable Goods: Certain items such as live animals or products that may perish cannot be returned or refunded once delivered, unless there is a health or quality issue with the product at the time of arrival.
  • Custom Orders or Special Requests: Items made to custom specifications cannot be returned unless there is a fault with the product.

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order and receive a refund within 7 days, as per the Consumer Protection Act. This applies to items bought online as long as the product has not been used or damaged.
