Description:
The Cubaris sp. Salmon isopods are deep orange -pinkish color. Originating from the tropical regions of France. They are found in low ventilated, high moisture areas.
These isopods can also conglobate, meaning they can roll into a ball.
Care Requirements:
Hailing from tropical areas, they prefer high humidity. Known for their ability to burrow, so make sure you add adequate substrate levels. To maintain optimal health, we recommend a bioactive substrate that is at least 10 centimeters deep, allowing these isopods to burrow, breed, and molt naturally. To promote a thriving ecosystem, we suggest incorporating springtails, which enhance microbial diversity within the substrate, fostering a healthier and more stable environment for your isopods.
Cubaris sp. Salmon is a beginner friendly isopod.
